What this website collects, where it goes, and how to have it removed. If anything here doesn't answer your question, text me at (413) 242-6094.

What I collect

When you request a spot

Your name, phone number and email, an emergency contact if you give one, your dog's name, breed and age, the service and dates you want, and anything you write in the notes. If you attach them, a photo of your dog and their vaccination records.

When you sign the agreement

The same contact details, plus your address, your vet, your dog's medications, health conditions and behavior, your photo choice, and your signature.

When you send vaccination records

Your name, phone and email, your dog's name, which vaccines the records cover, and the files themselves.

What I don't collect

The site has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it doesn't use cookies to follow you around. The website's host keeps ordinary server logs, like any website.

Why

To answer your request, look after your dog safely, reach you or your emergency contact if I need to, and keep proof of vaccination. Proof of rabies vaccination is required by law.

I don't sell your information, rent it, or share it for marketing.

Where it goes

When you send a form

It is stored encrypted on Vercel, the company that hosts this website, until I've added it to my records. It is also emailed to me through Web3Forms, and any files you attach may be emailed to me through Resend so I have a copy.

If your connection drops while you're sending a request, your own browser keeps a copy on your device and sends it when it can, then removes it.

Once you're a client

Your details and your dog's records live in the booking app on my phone. It is backed up, encrypted, to Supabase, a database company, and a weekly encrypted copy is kept on Vercel. I'm the only person who can sign in to any of it.

Bookings go on my Google Calendar with your dog's name, your name and your phone number. Photos, walk maps and report cards from a stay are sent to you and kept in the same backup.

These companies keep the data on servers in the United States and Canada.

Google Calendar

The website connects to Google only so I can put bookings on my own Google Calendar and see how full each day is. It never touches your Google account, and nothing it reads from my calendar is used for anything else or shared with anyone.

Photos

I may post photos and videos of your dog on this website and on social media, mainly Instagram. No names, no addresses, and nothing that shows where you live. You can opt out at any time and I'll take them down. The details are on the policies page.

How long I keep it

A request I turn down is cleared from the list and kept only as an archived copy. A client's details are kept while you book with me, and after that for as long as I need them for my records.

Vaccination records are kept after you stop booking, because proof of rabies vaccination is a legal requirement and can still be needed after a stay.

Your choices

You can ask what I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Text me at (413) 242-6094 and I'll take care of it, except for records I have to keep, like rabies proof.

You can also opt out of photos at any time, and you can leave any optional field on the forms blank.
